Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 June 2026

These Terms govern your use of OnCut — a third-party tool for Assetto Corsa / No Hesi that captures your runs and shows live pace coaching, comprising an in-game app and a web dashboard at oncut.app (the “Service”). The Service is operated by OnCut, an individual based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (and have permission from a parent/guardian if under 16) to use OnCut. By using it you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@oncut.app if you suspect unauthorised access. One person, one account; don’t share or sell accounts.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

4. Your content and data

Your runs, telemetry, and account data remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that data solely to operate the Service for you (e.g. saving your runs, showing your personal bests and pace). We don’t claim ownership of your data and we don’t sell it. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. The OnCut software

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the OnCut app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, decompile, or redistribute it except where the law expressly allows. The app and the Service remain our intellectual property.

6. Beta & changes to the Service

OnCut is in active development (beta). Features may change, break, or be removed, and data captured during the beta may occasionally be reset or migrated. We’ll try to avoid disruption but can’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

7. Fees

During the beta the Service is provided free of charge. We may introduce paid plans in future; if we do, we’ll give you clear notice and the chance to decide before any charge applies. These Terms will be updated accordingly.

8. Third-party services & no affiliation

OnCut is an independent, third-party tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by No Hesi, Assetto Corsa / Kunos Simulazioni, Valve / Steam, or Discord. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. We’re not responsible for third-party services we integrate with.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that the Service will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won’t be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (which, during the free beta, is £0). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.

11. Termination

You can stop using OnCut and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data deletion is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We’ll update the “last updated” date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice (e.g. by email or an in-app notice). Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
